Rotterdam – Deborah Boniewski, 67, passed away on June 1st, 2018 with her family by her side after a short but courageous fight with esophageal and liver cancer. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Marion McCabe(Miner) and John E. McCabe, and her brother, John McCabe(of Phoenix). She leaves behind her loving husband, Chester Boniewski, her daughters Sarah Boniewski Keppler (Brian), and Katie Boniewski, and her adored granddaughters Hayley, Allyson and Emma Keppler, as well as many family and friends.

Deb was passionate about the Lord and in knowing when she passed she would be with her father in Heaven, and she lived her life with that same passion. Deb was always doing things for others and always giving to people in need. Her zest for life was seen daily by her family and friends by the legendary Christmas cookies she’d make to the tole painting she enjoyed.

Deb wouldn’t hesitate to drop anything to help someone and was very passionate about the City Mission and donating to Alpha Pregnancy. Her legacy will live on from everyone that knew her and will help her family and friends grieve from her passing. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7:30 PM at Faith Baptist Church, 11 Glenridge Road, Rexford.

Funeral services will take place at Faith Baptist on Thursday at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the City Mission, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY 12305 and Alpha Pregnancy Care Center, 967 Albany St., Schenectady, NY 12307.
