Obituary for Jerrell Phillips Jerrell “Jerry” Phillips passed away peacefully on July 14, 2018, after a battle with Kennedy’s disease, while at home in Wilton, California surrounded by family. He was born in Lincoln, Arkansas on July 8, 1939. While a small child, his family moved to Oroville, California where he grew up.

After marriage, Jerrell and his wife, Roberta, moved several times and settled in Wilton. Jerrell leaves behind a loving wife of 61 years, Roberta Jean Phillips, sons Dwayne (Jan), Kevin (Kimberly), Ivan, 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Farrell (Winnie), Carroll (Vicky), Billy (Phyllis), Larry (Karen) and sister Dianna Rhouke (Larry).

Jerrell retired from Arco as a fuel transport driver in 2004. His hobby was piloting private aircraft and later flying remote control planes. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Funeral service to be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Reception to follow funeral. Both services and reception will be held at Herberger Family Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd.
