Jerry’s Obituary Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee Services for Jerry Kenneth Barlow, 79, will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Revonda Sutton officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow on Thursday January 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 11:00 am until service time.

Mr. Barlow, a retired Sergeant First Class U.S. Army, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at Christian Care Center in McKenzie. He was born on March 10, 1939 in McKenzie, TN to Roe Todd and Ida Guffie Barlow. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), he retired from the US Army in 1977 after 20 years and was a Vietnam War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years Yisoon Suh, who in 2009, a sister Betty Barlow Barton, three brothers Thomas Barlow, Bill Barlow, and Ray Barlow. Survivors include a son Yang Ron Barlow of Henderson, NV, and three grandchildren. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
