Mr. Jerry Linwood Blackmon, 73 of Four Oaks passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Lees Chapel A. C. Church in Four Oaks. Officiating the service will be the Rev.

John Harper, Gardner Altman, Jr. and John Muter. Interment will follow in the Lees Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Survivors of Mr. Blackmon include a wife, Sandra Blackmon of Four Oaks; sons, J. Scott Blackmon and fiancee Cam Van Nguyen of Smithfield; Kenneth Wayne Blackmon of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Ashton Miles Blackmon of Morehead City; Memoree Grace Blackmon of Raleigh; brothers, Horace Blackmon of Myrtle Beach, SC; Morris Blackmon of Benson; aunt, Geraldine B. Stanley. Mr. Blackmon is preceded in death by parents, Lexie and Gladys Blackmon, brother, Dennis Blackmon Memorials may be made to Lees Chapel A. C. Church 4154 NC 96 S.
