Evanston, Indiana Jerry R. Myers, 75, passed away April 26, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born November 4, 1942 to the late Harold Myers and Francis (Bolin) Shackelford. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Bill Myers and Richard Myers, Sr. Jerry was married on August 3, 1963 to the former Catherine (Merkley).

He retired from Alcoa, where he was a supervisor. Jerry enjoyed fishing, playing euchre and his cat, “Baby Girl”. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Myers, Evanston; daughter, Cynthia Harris (John), Huntingburg and a sister, Nadine Litherland (Lee), Cannelton.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, will be assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Perry County Animal Shelter.
