Tell City, Indiana Mildred “Millie” Genet, 91, passed away May 30, 2018 at her home in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born in Derby, Indiana on December 29, 1926 to the late Ira and Alice (Harlen) Hall. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Genet in 2008; her children, Robert Genet, Michael Genet and Rebecca Lindsey; a grandson, Craig Genet; sisters, Mary Larkin and Selma Fraily; and brothers, Ira Hall Jr. and Franklin Hall.

Millie was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, quilting and spending time with her family. Surviving is her daughter, Sherry Hack (Tony), Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Travis Genet, David, Dustin and Daniel Lindsey, Nicholas Genet, Alison (Hack) Hoskins and Maggie Hack; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Monday 8:30-9:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
