Evansville, Indiana Zachary T. “Zach” Wardrip, 19, passed away April 29, 2018 in Murray, Kentucky. Zach was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on December 18, 1998, son of Jerry and Lisa (DeWitt) Wardrip. A 2017 graduate of Central High School, Zach was currently working at Bud’s Harley Davidson.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, computer games, shooting matches, welding, UK basketball and tinkering in the garage with his papaw. He loved his truck and hanging out with friends at “truck meets”. “Z” went out of his way to help people and to let them know they were loved by him.

He will be remembered for his big smile, his loving heart, and his warm hugs. Surviving are his parents, Jerry and Lisa Wardrip, Evansville; sister, Aerika Wardrip (Drew Brown), Evansville; grandmother, Jane DeWitt, Hawesville, KY; grandfather, Don Walters, Tell City; aunts and uncles, Danny Wardrip (Alma), Ginger Paul (Dan), Connecticut, Robin Robinson (Bill), and Dennis Wardrip (Lisa) all of Tell City, Theresa Kirchner (Guy), Hawesville, Kathy Griffin, Evansville and Scott DeWitt (Mandy), Owensboro, KY and several cousins. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Orville DeWitt, Lennie Jean Walters and William Wardrip and an uncle, Bobby Griffin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Mark Ayers will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Zach was a country boy and the family would like for visitors to dress casual while celebrating his life.
