OBITUARY Jerry Ray White February 2, 1944 – November 30, 2018 Jerry Ray White, age 74 of Ravenna, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018. He was born February 2, 1944, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Charles Paul and Verna L. (Grund) White. Jerry retired from Sonoco Products in Monroe Falls, and proudly served his country as a member of the National Guard.

He cherished the time spent with family and friends at Cherokee Park Campground in Brimfield as well as his weekly meeting at the Brimfield Steak House. Jerry was an avid sports and NASCAR fan. While he never raced, he was the champion of the inaugural Portage County Randolph Fair Demolition Derby.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Stephanie Stankiewicz, son Keven White, grandchildren: Ashley (Craig) Everly, Joshua (Emily) Korpita, McKensi Stankiewicz, Cody White, and Anna White, his brother Vernon (Kathy) White, and his sister Ruth Beeson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Bonnie White. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, December 4, 2018, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Chaplain Bill Wisniewski on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park. Condolences and memories may be shared at www. wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
