Jerry Wayne Kimery, age 68, resident of Bolivar, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday evening, July 29, 2018 at the Bolivar General Hospital. Funeral Services for Mr. Kimery will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Pastor James Watford officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Williston.

Visitations for Mr. Kimery will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 and from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville. Mr. Kimery was born October 10, 1949 in Somerville, Tennessee, the son of Frances E. Thompson Kimery of Moscow, Tennessee and the late Joseph Marvin Kimery.

He received his education in Moscow, Tennessee and was employed as a commercial fisherman before his retirement in 1998. He was a resident of Bolivar for twenty years and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Kimery is survived by six sons, Gary Kimery of Holly Springs, MS, Christopher Kimery, Shane Kimery of Jackson, TN, Jason Kimery of Mississippi, Jerry Logan of Jackson, TN, Donnie Logan of Moscow, TN; two sisters, Juanita Seago of Corinth, MS, Bonnie Lynn (Tommy) of Brownsville, TN; his brother, Bobby Joe Kimery of Booneville, MS; seven grandchildren and his companion, Betty Graves of Bolivar, TN.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joey Kimery, Dewayne Graves, Shawn Seago, Thomas Lynn, Lance Thomason and Darrell Graves.
