Mr. Jerry Monroe Peeler, 77 of Faith, NC passed away on January 2, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Peeler was born March 24, 1941 in Rowan County, son of the late Leo Peeler and Ruth Overcash Peeler. Mr. Peeler retired from Owens Illinois as a press operator.

Mr. Peeler is a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of Shiloh Reformed Church, and the Keller Memorial Masonic Lodge. He loved to mow grass, beach trips, fishing and metal detecting. He also retired from the Faith Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Douglas Peeler and his sister Lois Ritchie. Mr. Peeler is survived by his wife, Evelene Peeler whom he married on April 7, 1963, son Danny Lee Peeler and wife Melanie of Apex, NC, daughter Jody Peeler Cuellar and husband Mario of Faith, NC, brothers Ted Peeler and Gregory Peeler of Faith, NC. He is also survived by his grandchildren Alexander and Nicolas Cuellar and Jordan and Samantha Peeler.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 5th at 11:30 AM at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith, conducted by Pastor Richard Myers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donors choice. Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell, honored provider of Veterans Funeral Care is assisting the Peeler Family.
