Jesse Lee Jackson, Sr. , 68, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, Indiana. Jesse was born on September, 12, 1950 in Clark County, Indiana the son of Sydney Bryant Jackson, Sr. and Geneva Mae Anderson Jackson. He was a welder and machine operator for Chemtrusion Company and a member of Living Waters Church in Charlestown, Indiana.

Survivors include his sons, Donnie Jackson of Charlestown, IN, Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. of Charlestown, IN, and John Jackson of Kentucky; daughter, Kristina Lilly of Charlestown; brothers, Sydney Jackson, Jr., of New Albany, IN, Danny Ray Jackson of Nineveh, IN; sisters, Sue Bryson of Charlestown, IN, and Linda Jackson of Kentucky; grandchildren, Ryan, Brittany, Sabrina, Johnny, Brianna, Donnie, Jr., and Kristoffer; great grandchild, Xavier. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, Indiana.
