Jessie Roy Beamon, Sr., 66 of Kinston passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at home. Jessie was a loving husband, father and papa. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Chester and Frances Craft Beamon and mother in law, Helen Fields.

Jessie is survived by his wife, Linda Fields Beamon, daughter, Hope Michelle Dawson and husband Brad of Kinston, sons, Jessie Roy Beamon, Jr. and wife Hillary of Kinston, David Adam Beamon and fiancé, Shannon Nguyen, grandchildren, Lee Dawson and wife April, Victoria Dawson, Landyn Beamon and Ashlyn Beamon, great grandchildren, Mariah Dawson and Hannah Dawson, sisters Linda Carol Brock and Ida Sue Nobles and brothers Stewart Beamon and Joe “Gabby” Beamon. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00am Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with graveside to follow at Walstonburg City Cemetery.
