Obituary for Ms. Jill Maureen Avis Jill M. Avis age 56 years of Minotola, formerly of Bridgeport went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 29, 2018 at the Bishop McCarthy Home, Vineland. Jill was born in Woodbury, raised in Bridgeport and attended Paulsboro High School. She worked for many years as an L.P.N. at Crozier Hospital in Chester and in various nursing homes.

Jill enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Jason Spring of Bridgeport; her father, Clarance “Cecil” and Betty Avis of Pemberton; her sisters, Deborah and Steven Vandzura of Minotola, Sharon “Saucy” Avis Trombly Clark of Bridgeport and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Jill was predeceased by her son, Jonathan David Spring and her mother, Jean Avis.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday November 3, 2018 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday morning after 9 AM until service time. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery, Bridgeport.
