Jim Fouts, 58, Mexico, passed away at 4:55 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at his residence. He went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, with his loving family by his side. He was born July 9, 1960, in Wabash, Indiana, he was the son the late Bill and Jan Ohmart Fouts, and grandson of Bob and Mary Ohmart of Laketon, Indiana, and Andy and Margaret Love Fouts, of Chili, Indiana He was married on May 17, 1980 at the Mexico Church of the Brethren to his high school sweetheart, Lee Ann Kling, and she survives.
He and his wife were crowned King and Queen of their High School Prom, both graduating from North Miami High School in 1979. Jim was the owner of IPTEES Screen Printing & Super Hoops, Peru, Indiana, for over twenty years. Jim liked spending time with his loving family.
He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Lee Ann Fouts, Mexico; three sons, Brandon (Lacie) Fouts, Warsaw; Lucas (Whitney) Fouts, Wakarusa; and Kyle (Samantha) Fouts, Kokomo; his grandchildren, Mackaylee, Tayton, Brynlee, Palmer, and Evelyn; his two loving and wonderful sisters, Tammy Burnsworth, Wabash; and Susan Kulla (Ronnie Gollier), Mexico; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Janice Howell Kling, Peru; and brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Coleen Hudson Kling, Peru; and sister-in-law, Peggy Bough, Nappanee. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, 4460 N Mexico Rd.
