Jimmie Lee Furrer, 61, of Brazil passed away on Friday July 27, 2018 in his residence. He was retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #157 after 44 years. Jimmie was born September 7, 1956 in Terre Haute to Gerald Lee Furrer and Betty (Auld) Furrer.

He is survived by his mother Betty Cornwell of Terre Haute; a sister, Kim Chrisman (fiancée Lance Taylor) of Monticello; a brother, Brent Furrer (Lisa) of Greenwood; niece, Brittany Chrisman; nephew, ryan Chrisman; great-nieces and nephews, Brycen, Madison, Lyric, and James; aunts, Dixie Cunningham (John) and Mary Evelyn Johnson; special cousin, Steve Englehart (Debbie) and several other cousins and many special lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a special cousin, Rhonda Kable. Jimmie was a 1974 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo high School, a member of the Seelyville Conservation Club.

He liked to drag race motorcycles and loved hunting, fishing and competitive shooting. Visitation will be Tuesday July 31, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Swan officiating.
