Pearl Eugene Stephens, 82, passed away in the comfort of his home in Tulsa OK on July 19, 2018. He was born to Virgil and Thelma (Morris) Stephens in Terre Haute on January 3, 1936. Gene is preceded in death by his parents; son Mark Stephens, and 3 grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Lois (Haskett) Stephens; daughters Eugenia Norman (Ronnie) Colleena Frontiero; Christina Marinkovich (Paul) and Alicia Bailey (Mike); two brothers Ron Stephens (Carol) and Tom Stephens (Wanda); sister Linda Gregory; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gene was a member of the graduating class of ’53 from Glenn High School. He later graduated from Indiana State University in Business Administration.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion in Stigler OK. Gene was a master gardener and he also loved to fish and was a cattleman as well. Visitation for Gene will be held on Wednesday July 25 from 4-8 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with services at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 26.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
