Obituary of Jimmy Karns Jimmy J Karns – Born November 7, 1945, in LaFollette, TN, and a long-time resident of the Hood River Community, passed away on December 9, 2018, with family by his side. Jim is survived by his wife, Teri Karns; son Jay Powers; daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Trevor Hart; and three beautiful grandchildren, Olivia Powers, Ryan Hart, and Sydney Hart. Jim is proceeded in death by his father, James Powers and his mother, Jewell Halvorson.

There will be a visitation at Gardner Funeral Home, 1270 N. Main Avenue, White Salmon, Washington on Friday, December 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. at Idlewild Cemetery.
