Jo Ann Welbaum Thompson, 77, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare, Pineville, NC. Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Clover Liberty Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Michael E. Coe officiating.

Ms. Thompson was born July 5, 1941 in Troy, OH to the late Clarence Christopher and Alice Wright Welbaum. Survivors are her daughters Melodie Jo Smith Hill of Jensen Beach, FL, Stacie Lynne Smith of Chester, SC; son George Thomas Thompson of Hickory, NC; brother Jerry Welbaum of Boise, ID; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorials may be made in Memory of Jo Ann Thompson to Piedmont Volunteer Auxiliary, Attn: New Attitude Room, 222 S. Herlong Ave.

, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
