Hall, 95, of Holton, passed away February 10, 2019 at the Holton Community Hospital. She was born November 23, 1923 in Fairview, KS, the daughter of John Henry and Mildred Jennifer (Houlette) Fraser. She graduated from high school and later graduated from Washburn University.

Joan worked as an administrative assistant for the Compton Union School District in California for 19 years. She later worked with her husband Richard selling real estate before retiring. They lived Yucca Valley, CA before moving to Holton in 2003.

Joan married Richard Hall on September 10, 1946 in Compton, CA. They shared 60 years of marriage before Richard passed away on November 19, 2006. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Jean Zimmerman, Shirley Babb and Janice Kathrens; and 2 brothers Jerold Fraser and Glen (Jake) Fraser.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Betty Adams of Central Point, OR and Mary Kleppee of Hiawatha, KS; a brother-in-law John Kathrens of Holton and many nieces and nephews. Joan was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
