Joan “JoJo” Osmun Sousley, 90, formerly of Middle Point, OH, died 12:37PM Monday September 3, 2018 at Van Wert Manor, Van Wert, OH. She was born September 27,1927 in Van Wert County, OH to Orville Wilson and Elizabeth (Grove) Wilson who are both deceased. She was married to Richard Osmun and Walter Sousley who are both deceased.

Surviving is Niece Barbara Etzler, Middle Point, OH; Great Nieces Tina Eley, Middle Point, OH and Tonya Hoghe of Middle Point, OH. Several Great Great Nieces and Nephews survive. Preceding JoJo in death is one Brother Richard Wilson, Nephew Paul Wilson, Nephew In Law Vernon Etzler, Great Niece Tracy Bishop and Great Nephew Troy Hoghe.

JoJo was an Administrative Secretary at Continental Can Co./Sonoco Fibre Drum, for 44 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Van Wert, OH and a former member of: Van Wert Women’s Club, Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Hoaglin Jackson Sunrise Club, Order of Eastern Star, TWIG II, Van Wert YWCA and Van Wert Historical Society. She served on the Middle Point Village Council where she was President and Mayor of Middle Point.

Funeral Services will be 5:00PM Thursday September 6, 2018 @ Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with calling hours from 3-5:00PM prior to the service that day. Alan Joseph will be officiating. Burial will be in the King Cemetery, Middle Point, OH.

Preferred memorials may go to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Van Wert, OH OR Middle Point United Methodist Church, Middle Point, OH.
