(Rita) Joan Ososki Pinconning, Michigan Joan, age 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on May 24, 2018, at the Huron Woods Nursing Center. She was born on May 28, 1932. in Bay City, Michigan, to the late Glenn & Helen (Pettitte) McCoy.

She graduated in 1950 from St. Michael’s Catholic School in Pinconning and was class Valedictorian. Joan was a member of St. Michael’s Church and started the implementation of funeral lunches which she did for numerous years. … Read More » She married Joseph Ososki, Jr., in August 1953 in Pinconning, Michigan.

She enjoyed laughing, reading, power walking and sewing, but most of all spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband of 64 years are their children: Wayne (Cathy) Ososki of Bay City, Michigan; Joyce (Russell) Smith of Minden, Nevada; Keith (Janet) Ososki of AuGres, Michigan; Kevin (Christine) Ososki of Huntington, Indiana, Brenda (widow of William) Glasner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Jamie Pipesh of East Tawas, Michigan. She had 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, her brother Bruce McCoy and sister Carol Martin of Michigan, also a sister in law Marlene McCoy.

She was predeceased by her step-mother Lucille (Hadlow) McCoy; her brother Robert, and her sister Linda Bedell. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 11:00 am from the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Rev. Fr.

James Carlson and Deacon Gary Patelski presiding with inurnment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 am until time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.

Joe and his family would like to extend a Heartfelt Thank You to Huron Woods Nursing Center for the compassionate care Joan received.
