Isabel T. Bricker Kawkawlin, Michigan Mrs. Bricker 88 passed away peacefully at Sheffield Bay on Thursday June 14, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born in Gladstone, Michigan on March 15, 1930 to the late Omer & Isabel (Gimmons) Vanders. She married Cecil L. Bricker on August 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death on Thursday November 27, 2008.

She is survived by her children Lloyd & Grace Bricker and JoAnn Bricker-Zier, 5 grandchildren Jason, Robert and Brian… Read More » & Melissa Bricker, Karrie & Jason Silvery and Jacob Zier; 5 great grandchildren Carmen& Tyler Silvey, Benjamin, Elizabeth & Brayden Bricker; sister Delores & Fritz Bolz and a sister in law Betty Vanders; She was preceded in death by her sister and brother. Isabel will be remembered for her strong willed personality and her collecting memorabilia from her trips with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening in her flower beds and vegetables, feeding the birds and playing board games.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 1 pm at Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Engelhardt presiding with burial in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 11 am until time of services. The family would like to extend a Thank you to the staff at Sheffield Bay and Heartland Hospice for the comforting and excellent care given to their Mom.
