Kirk D. Wieland Bay City, Michigan Kirk passed away suddenly on Friday June 8, 2018 at his home from a massive heart attack. He was born in Bay City on January 12, 1958 to Merle & Elaine (Broguard) Wieland. He married the former Cecelia A. Cabay on March 13, 1987 in Las Vegas, she survives him.

Kirk was the Dealer-Principal of Wieland Sales. He was a member of Michigan Automobile Dealers Association, National Automobile Dealers Association, Sons of the American Legion, International… Read More » Truck & Engine 20 group and the International Truck & Engine Advisory Board. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle and being in the out of doors.

In recent years Kirk was practicing his retirement life by farming, babysitting grandchildren, wintering in Arizona, and caring for these 2 dogs known as “His Blonds”. He is survived by his loving wife Cecelia and their children Michael & Chelsee Wieland, Keven Wieland and Mackenzie & Jack Ruthruff; grandchildren Arlen Ruthruff, Abigail Wieland, Claire Weiland and Hazel Sparks; his mother Elaine Wieland; 2 sisters Dawn & Phil Bahr and Marsha & Jim Bowers and brother Chad & Rebecca Wieland. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 at 1 pm from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Mr. Todd Wieland presiding with cremation to follow.

Family will be present at the funeral home on Monday from 1 to 8 pm and Tuesday 10 am until time of services to receive family and friends. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to direct to the family wishes.
