Obituary for Joann C Dezember Joann C. (Reising) Dezember, 72, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Joann was born June 25, 1945 in Evansville to the late Robert J. and Mary C. (Hufnagel) Reising. She was a 1963 graduate of Mater Dei High School and retired from Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union after over 40 years of service.

Joann enjoyed watching cooking shows and loved to cook for her family. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving Joann are her husband of 54 years, Robert Dezember; three daughters, Sheri (Todd) Powers, Lisa (Ron) Schneider and Angie (Chad) Burnett all of Evansville; two sons, Bob Dezember of Evansville and Mike (Michelle) Dezember of Leoma, TN; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Titzer; by a brother, Edward Reising and by a grandson, Ethan Burnett. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rev. Phil Kreilein officiating.

Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:30 A.M. until service time on Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, the American Cancer Society or to St. Boniface Catholic Church.
