Mrs. Mattie “Dotty” Phillips, age 78 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 9:53 PM at Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab Facility in Franklin, KY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 11, 2018 with burial to follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. Mrs. Phillips was born May 1, 1942 to the late John Halliburton and the late Pearl Poston Halliburton.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Arnold, James and Thomas, a sister Helen Hollars. She is survived by her husband Larry Phillips of Franklin, KY and 2 sisters Rosie Lillian Daniels and “Peggy” Della Cardwell both of Portland, TN. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church and a former employee of Franklin Shirt Factory Visitation will begin Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM Friday until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
