Phyllis England Peck, age 82 of Franklin, KY, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Marietta, GA. She was born May 12, 1935 in Pahokee, Florida to the late Clyde E. England and the late Lucille Virginia Cowan. She lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for almost 70 years before moving to Franklin, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer “Bill” Peck, a son, Steven Mark Peck, and a sister, Ruth England. She is survived by her son, David Alan Peck (Yvonne) of Powder Springs, GA and her daughter, Patti Ann Dennard (Brent) of Georgetown, KY, 3 grandchildren Amy Jo Peck of Lynchburg, VA, Blake Dennard of Troy, MI and Brooke Dennard of Georgetown, KY, 3 brothers Clyde Wendall England of West Palm Beach, FL, William Arthur England of Vero Beach, FL and Lynn England of Plant City, FL and 1 sister, Edith Kuiper of Hemlock, NY. Mrs. Peck was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and Gideon’s International Auxiliary.

She retired as a registered nurse after serving for over thirty years in Palm Beach County, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Calvary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, May 10, 2018 and from 6:00 AM and until 9:30 AM Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the Calvary Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until service Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 804 Church St., Franklin, KY 42134 or to Gideons International.
