Obituary for Mary Catherine Fallen Mary Catherine (Goad) Fallen, 88, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at her home surrounded by her children. She was born November 3, 1929 to the late Richard and Marguerite Goad. She was a 1947 graduate of Memorial High School.
She was married to Richard Fallen, April 29,1950. Mary was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a stay at home mom for many years.
She later worked as office manager and secretary for Fallen Plumbing and later Rick`s Rain Irrigation, her son Rick`s business. Mary loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She loved the holidays and traveling with family to grandchildren’s sporting events.
She loved her Chicago Cubs, ceramics, bowling, music and working crossword puzzles. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Rosary for 40 years.
She was of strong faith. Mary is survived by her children, Terri Stoltzner, Kitti (Dale) Williams, Rick (Buff) Fallen, Ray Fallen, Angi Taylor, Tim (Elizabeth) Fallen; grandchildren, Bradley (Jessica) Williams, Matt (Jamey) Williams, Katie (Brad) Weiner, Kristen (Matt) King, Tara (Todd) Stewart, Miles Taylor, Tessa (Wilson) Newell, Sacra Joe Fallen, Peyton Fallen, Bailey Fallen, Chloe and Alex Alder; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard of 58 years in 2008; brothers, Robert and Richard Goad; and sister, Margaret Ann Knight.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm-7:00 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN. A Memorial Service will begin 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm Friday, May 4, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1303 S. Green River Road, Evansville, IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 pm at the church. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum. Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1303 S. Green River Road, Evansville, IN 47714.
