Carolyn A. (Allen) Gathings, age 52, of Evansville, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2018, at home. Carolyn was born June 10, 1966, in Manhattan, NY, to the late Andy Allen and the late Margaret (Tyler) Perry. She worked at Old National Bank as a bank loan officer and attended University of Southern Indiana with a focus on her Business Administration Degree.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children. She is survived by her daughters, Dominique Darden and Cambria Gathings; sister, Karen Hixson (Daniel); niece, Laré Bridges (Jacob); nephew, Austin Connor; Wendell Gathings, Jr.; and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Anthony Allen; and sister, Cheryl Allen.

Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.

Memorial Contributions may be made to: Old National Bank to the benefit of Dominique Darden and Cambria Gathings at any Old National Bank branch.
