Obituary for John R. Baize John R. Baize, 35, of Evansville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. John professed his faith in Jesus Christ many times and is now with his beloved grandparents, Jim and Almadell Baize and Robert and Vanna Zimmerman. John attended Reitz High School.

He was afflicted with debilitating headaches when he was 15 and has been disabled with them since. He had from childhood wanted to join the military but was not able to with his affliction; however, he demonstrated the stoicism of a soldier as he went through the many different treatments from the many different doctors across the country. He is now free from pain.

John is survived by his parents, Dr. Jim and Ruth (Zimmerman) Baize. Funeral services for John will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home. John’s family would like to thank all of their faithful friends and family across the country who have held him up in prayer throughout these past twenty years. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Hills Wesleyan Church, 2801 Claremont Ave, Evansville, IN 47712, where John attended.
