Obituary for Patrick Graves Patrick Graves, 58, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born September 16, 1959 to the late Helen and Russell Graves. Pat was a hard working loyal member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 20 for 29 years and worked for J.E. Shekell.
Pat was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was devoted to his family and valued their many traditions. He was generous with his time and always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need.
In addition to time spent with his family and his dog, Pat loved to garden; fish; and eat his wife’s cooking. He was a collector of many fine (and sometimes not so fine) things. Pat is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Neth) Graves; son, Jack Graves; daughter, Ellen (Ben) Murphy; grandchildren, Max and Maverick Murphy; loving dog, Chloe; brothers, Michael (Glenda) Graves, Sam (Margaret) Graves; sisters, Vera (Joe) Mattingly, Elgin (Bill) Upshaw, and Nancy Cline; brothers-in-laws, Joe (June) Neth, Tom (Karen) Neth and Bob (Karen) Neth; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Wayne) Griffith, Jackie (Gary) Turnbloom, Lori Neth and Kathy (Dennis) Jochem; mother and father- in- law; Jack and Eleanor Neth; several nieces and nephews; as well as many friends loved as family.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel 800 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN 47714. Visitation will continue from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Monday, June 25, 2018 at the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am.
