Obituary for JoAnna Wentzel-Bowley JoAnna Wentzel- Bowley, 43, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, Deaconess Gateway. She was born June 24, 1974, to the late Josie (Kelle) and Allen Wentzel. Jo Anna has an AS degree from Vincennes University in Criminal Justice.

She worked as Optomologist Tech and a Sargent at the Vanderburgh County Jail. JoAnna was a member of the Renge Christian Church. She was a lifelong Cubs fan.

JoAnna enjoyed spending time at Lake Barkley cabin with the family, where she enjoyed fishing and camping, and gardening. Jo Anna is survived by her husband, Jeffrey T. Bowley of Evansville; brothers, Charlie (Dee) Wentzel of Schaumburg, IL, Tom (Kanita), Wentzel of Boonville, IN and Kenny (Darlene) Wentzel of Evansville, IN; beloved puppy kids, Jet, and J.J., tricycle wheel friend, Amy Hart; several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. JoAnna was preceded in death by her parents; Father and Mother in law, Jerry and Jackie Bowley.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 North First Ave. Visitation will continue from 10:00 until 11:00 am, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the funeral home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian DeTalente officiating.
