Obituary for Kathy Elaine Grimes Kathy Elaine Grimes departed this life on Mon. June 18, 2018. She was born July 4, 1950 in Evansville, IN to Charlotte and Wilford Quinn.

She was known as “Dukes” by many childhood friends. Kathy was a devoted mother and friend. She attended Liberty Baptist Church regularly, under the leadership of Rev.

Todd Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Charlotte Sargent. She leaves to cherish her memory one son: Demarco Thacker; daughters: Carmen Jones, Brittany Jackson (Shadrach); grandchildren: Kiara Williams, China Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Geaven Jones, Seraiah Jackson, Elias Jackson; great grandchildren: Kaniah, Deonte, Dai Juan, and Kiyona Hester; nieces: Toi and Tracie Sargent; special friends: Ruby McGlown, Barbara Barnett, Patricia Gray, Carolyn Gold; and a host of other friends and relatives.

Services are Thursday June 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service. Burial in Oak Hill. R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
