Russell Wayne Daugherty, age 62, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown. Russell was born June 27, 1955, in Evansville, IN, to the late Jessie and Addy (Ruark) Daugherty. He attended Reitz High School, was a member of Catalyst Church, and worked as an engineering and maintenance employee at Deaconess Midtown.

Russell loved spending time with Aeri. He enjoyed camping and fishing as well as playing with his dogs, Bruno and Sy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Lisa Grundon Daugherty; son, Austin Daugherty; daughter, Shelby Daugherty (Andrew Huffman); granddaughter, Aerionna “Aeri” Jae; sister, Billie Thomason; brother, Fred Daugherty (Donna); sister-in-law, Karen Shearer (Steve); mother-in-law, Wanda Hess; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tommy Daugherty, Gene Daugherty. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Whitmore and Pastor Marty Wages officiating. Burial will be Private.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, June 11, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Catalyst Church at 3232 Claremont Ave, Evansville, IN 47712.
