Obituary for Joseph Kelly Joseph Kelly, 72 of Evansville, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born September 9, 1945, in Evansville, IN to Laura (Lents) and Hubert Kelly. Joseph was a graduate of Rex Mundi class of 1964; he attended Lockyear College.

Joseph was drafted into the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He retired after 30 years with GenCorp Polymer Products. Joseph was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church where he served as a past board member.

He was the past president of the Chandler Jaycees and a member of the Chandler Kiwanis. He worked with Habitat for Humanity on several projects. Joseph was a founding member of Hallmark Collectors Club.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Boarman) Kelly; sons, Michael (Evie) Kelly, Brian (Jennifer) Kelly, Jeffry (Meagan Brothers) Kelly; grandchildren, Morgan, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Reagan, Nolan, and Corinne; brother, Charles (Susan) Kelly; sisters, Michelle Griffin, Kathy (David) Phillips, and Shannon (Clint) Woolsey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Patrick Kelly. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 15, 2018, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel 800 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN 47714.

Visitation will continue Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 2300 Washington Ave. , Evansville, IN 47714. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev.
