Obituary for Aaron K. Weare Aaron K. Weare, 78, of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Aaron was born July 5, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, IN to the late William and Mary Ruth (Young) Weare.
He had worked for Sterling Brewery for 36 years before retiring; was a member of the Turning Pointe church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Aaron loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his Harley. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to his monthly lunch meetings with his friends from the brewery.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Myrna (Georges) Weare; two daughters, Mona Hendricks and Tammy (David) King and two sons, Darron (Tammy) Weare and Bobby (Kerri) Oldham, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Baylee and Brylee Oldham, Sydney (Chuck) Koepke, Colton King, Timmy and Bradley Hargrove and Aaron and Clay Weare; nine great grandchildren and two special cousins that he loved like sisters, Barbara Crumbacher and Brenda Rainey. In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Lehman. Funeral services for Aaron will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, where the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Deaconess Hospice, especially Mercedes, Joy, Judy and Stacey for their kind and compassionate care.
