Obituary for Paul Frederick Droege Paul Frederick Droege, 66, of Wadesville, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. Paul was born June 14, 1952 in Evansville, IN to the late Edmund and Clara Marie (Reineke) Droege. He was a 1970 graduate of North Posey High School where he was captain of the 1969 PAC conference championship football team.

He was active in the FFA at North Posey. Paul was a lifelong farmer and an active member of Zion Lippe United Church of Christ. He had served on the church council as treasurer and also as president of the cemetery association.

Paul was also a member of the Keck-Gonnerman Antique Machinery Association. Surviving Paul are his wife of 25 years, Marcia (Galvach) Droege; daughter, Laura Droege; sister, Ruth (Tom) Wintczak of Wadesville and brother, Jim (Carol Jo) Droege of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services for Paul will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at Zion Lippe, Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lippe UCC Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at Zion Lippe UCC, 9000 Copperline Road E, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lippe UCC Cemetery Association, 9000 Copperline Road E, Mt.
