Obituary for Helen Dull Helen (Schaefer) Dull, 96, of Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown. She was born on May 6, 1922 in Evansville, IN to the late Cecelia (Nordhaus) and Joseph Schaefer. Helen worked in the special education department and retired from the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation after 27 years.

She is survived by her nieces, Donna Nelson, Mary Lou (Rob) Hogge, Patty (Dave) Ellerbusch, Mary Margaret Lambeck, and Ruth (Daryl) Miller; nephews, Fred, Luther (Nancy) and Charles (Beth) Skeels, Robert (Wanda) and Tom Hirsch; brother- in-law, Joe Hirsch; friend and caregiver, Kathy (Rick) Carlisle; numerous great nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, C. Arthur Dull; sisters, Margaret Malzahn, Antoinette Hirsch, Patricia Hirsch, Lucille Skeels, and Mary Ann Schaefer; brothers, Joseph and Frederic Schaefer; niece, Geraldine Lashbrook; nephew, Terry Skeels. Visitation will be 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave.

, Evansville. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Visitation will continue 10:00 am – 10:30 am, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W. Mill Rd.

, Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am at the church with Fr. Stephen Lintzenich officiating.
