Sharon M. Nicholson, age 78, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at St. Vincent – Evansville, IN. Sharon was born July 27, 1939, in Evansville, IN, to James & Mary (Bivins) Grayson. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1957 and was the first high school student hired as a secretary for Mead Johnson.

She married the love of her life, Richard Nicholson, May 15, 1959. Sharon was a member of Crossroads Christian Church. Her legacy of a lifetime lived for her Lord Jesus Christ and her dedication to her family continues to inspire them and those who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, of 59 years, Richard Nicholson, of Evansville, IN, daughter, Michele Rene Nicholson, sisters, Betty (Larry) Frazee, Carolyn (Fred) Dormeier, in-laws, Jeanne Shoulders, Mary Gibson, Jackie Lovelace, Ed Nicholson, Betty Jane Fleming, Jimmy (Sheila) Nicholson, Christine Nicholson, & David (Letta) Nicholson. and numerous dear nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, & great-great nieces & nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Crossroads Christian Church, 10800 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN. with Pastors Bret Nicholson and Rod Hoschouer officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
