Obituary for Sherry L. Hayden Sherry L. Hayden, 76, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her home. She was born October 14, 1941 to the late Robert and Brazia (Wuertz) Wilder. Sherry was a former cafeteria manager at St. Benedict’s school.

She owned and operated a day care for many years. She and Edmund enjoyed their time with family and friends at their house on Barkley Lake. She is survived by her husband, Edmund Hayden, married on June 7, 1958; son, Dennis Hayden of Lynnville, Indiana; daughter, Denise (John) Elliott of Henderson, Kentucky; grandsons, Robby Kerner, Nick Kerner, and Danny Kerner; granddaughter, Sarah (Chad) Davis; sister, Patricia (Butch) Hahn and two nieces and a nephew.

Visitation services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 South Hebron Avenue Evansville, IN 47710 with a funeral service beginning at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh CASA 728 Court St, Evansville, IN 47708 or to the American Cancer Society, 5250 Vogel Rd, Evansville, IN 47715 The family would like to thank Deaconess VNA Hospice, especially Megan Brown and Judy Bailey, for their kind and compassionate care of Sherry.
