Troy Gene Higginson, 48, of Wadesville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Troy was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 17, 1970 to Eugene and Diane (Chamlee) Higginson. He served as a National Guardsman and worked as a self employed plumber.

Troy enjoyed building race cars, riding his motorcycle, boxing and spending time with his family. Troy is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Higginson; his son, Tyler Gene Higginson; his step daughter, Casey Strueh-Higginson;… Read More » his parents, Eugene and Diane Higginson of Wadesville, IN; sisters, Carol Butrum (Scott) and Misty McKinney (DJ); brothers, Eugene Higginson II (Alisha) and Douglas Higginson (Hannah); grandchildren, Malik Hackner and Ameya Barnes; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A celebration of Troy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Tyrone Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses. Condolences may be made online at www.
