Obituary for David “Davy” Egan David (Davy) Egan, age 23, passed away as a result of a hit and run accident Friday evening, June 23, 2018. Davy worked as a laborer and had previously worked at Toyota. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.

His family and friends are still reeling from this devastating loss, and know his absence will forever be a void that will never heal. Despite Davy’s ups and downs, he had an unbreakable spirit, a wicked sense of humor and a huge, kind heart. He enjoyed bike riding, walking, skate boarding, video games, playing with his two dogs and three cats, and he absolutely adored his two little children.

Davy is survived by his wife, Lynsea, a son, Wyatt, and daughter Phoebe. Also surviving is his mother, Jackie (Coleman) Egan, his father and step-mother, Terry Egan and Glenda Vinson, two sisters Tara ( Sam) Pedroza and Jana (Clint) Sallee, brother Chad Egan, two step-sisters, Brandi Taylor and Amanda Robertson, two step-brothers, Austin Vinson and Devan Lowe, step-grandmother, Joan Cole, nieces Peyton, Cooper and Bristol Egan, and nephew Victor Pedroza, as well as large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018, his 24th birthday, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Evansville, IN with Rev. David Cullison officiating. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of David “Davy” Egan please visit our Sympathy Store.
