Roy A. “Allie” Carnahan, 79, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Linda E. White Hospice House after a beautiful day of family and friends visiting, singing, praying, and telling good ole’ stories. Allie was born May 17, 1939 in Huntingburg, IN, to the late Roy E. and Imogene (Perry) Carnahan. Allie retired from Ferguson Enterprises where he was a counter plumbing supply salesman for many years.

He also taught plumbing mechanics to those wanting to pursue a career in the plumbing industry. Allie was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Allie enjoyed working in the plumbing industry more than anything and always was eager to share a plumbing story.

Allie is survived by his daughters, Kelly Little-Hodge (Richard); Tracy Carnahan; and Jodi Miller (Jeff Gates); brother, James Carnahan (Sue); sister, Shirley Duncan (Jack); grandchildren, Ryan Little (Jamie), Lindsey Davison, Lauren Little (Jaime Schindler), Kayla Carson (Matt), Logan Miller, and Baylee Miller; and step-granddaughter, Kamie Blanekenship (Darrell); “family” daughter, Teresa Hearon; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Avery, Bobby, Emma, Ellie, and Bentley. Allie is preceded in death by his parents; his loving and supporting wife, Marsha (Hall) Carnahan, who passed through heaven’s gates just 6 weeks ago; son, Kelly Alleric; and brothers, Abraham and Rochelle. The family would like to personally thank Gene Backes for his many visits, the staff of the Linda E. White Hospice House for their care, and the special homecare angels: Chasity Wanniger, Adesha Grooves, and Jamia Lock.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Gene Backes officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
