Fort Myers – Joanne Jordan, 87, died October 13, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Jordan was born February 18, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Marguerite Wagner Hunter. She was a graduate of Boardman High School and received a Bachelors Degree from Northwestern University, where she was in the Alpha Zeta sorority.

Joanne was a homemaker, who was a socialite, enjoying playing cards with friends, writing, traveling, and solar eclipse chasing. She was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church and original member of the Boardman Swim Club, and a member of the Junior Women’s League. Joanne volunteered as a docent at the Butler Art Institute.

Joanne is survived by one son, Bill ( Denise) Kramer of Fort Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Melissa; one great grandchild Finn. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank; and one son, John Kramer. Services will be held at Davis-Becker Funeral Home 8536 Market St., Boardman, Sunday at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Berkebile officiating.

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Youngstown Friends and family will be received Sunday from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at www. beckerobits.com.
