Janice E. McLoskey, 69, of Boardman, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon October 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman. She was born February 20, 1949 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of William T. and Edith Louise (Evans) Davis and had been a lifelong area resident. Janice was a 1967 graduate of Boardman High School and had attended Urbana College.

She had worked for the Attorney Generals office at the Ohio State House, and had also worked for Dr. Raupple as a dental assistant. She had worked for Home Instead Senior Care, and was also the owner of McLoskey Building Maintenance Inc. Her family and her grandchildren meant everything to her. Besides her husband, William McLoskey, whom she married July 6, 1974, she leaves a son, William J. McLoskey of Boardman; a daughter, Allison E. Saxon of Poland; six grandchildren, Taren McLoskey, Carly McLoskey, Connor Saxon, Caitlyn Saxon, Caden Saxon, and Alexis McLoskey.

She also leaves her two sisters, Carolyn Nordgren, and Sheryl Blomstrom both of Boardman, a sister-in-law, Irene Bentley of North Lima, as well as four nieces and a nephew. Besides her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her son, Robert G. McLoskey, and her sister-in-law, Helen Citizen. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman, with Reverend Heather Nordgren officiating.
