Glen A. “Tennessee” Kesterson, 88, of Coitsville, died Friday morning November 23, 2018 St. Elizabeth Mercy Health Center in Youngstown. He was born June 7, 1930 in Midway, TN, son of James and Ila (Holt) Kesterson . Glen worked as a millwright piledriver and was a member Local 1090 for 42 years.

He was a member of Lawrence County Coon and Fox Hunter’s Association, and the Stagecoach Saddle Club in Coitsville. He was an avid hunter. He loved his children, grandchildren and his farm life.

He enjoyed trail riding and all of his horses and mules. Besides his wife of 36 years, Joann (Wollitz Clark) Kesterson, he leaves four sons, Glen (Linda) Kesterson of Greenville, TN, Daniel (Lori) Kesterson of Austintown, Gene Kesterson of Coitsville, and Gary Kesterson of Coitsville; his daughter, Denise Lewis of Youngstown; two step-daughters, Beverly (James)Mumaw of Coitsville, and Cathy (Walt) Kralj of Austintown; a step-son, Thomas Clark of Coitsville; a sister, Charlotte (Howard) Dominick of Salineville, OH; a brother, Norman Kesterson in Missouri; 18 Grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Besides his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kesterson; two step-daughters, Shirley Castelucci, and Donna Clark; six brothers, Hartzel, Rubel, Gene, Kyle, Don, and Gerald Kesterson, and a sister, Shirley Ann Carter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers with his daughter, the Reverend Denise Lewis officiating. Friends may call from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
