Youngstown – John “Jack” E. Arbogast, 65, died unexpectedly on October 27, 2018 at his home. John, affectionately known as “Jack” was born October 26, 1953 in Youngstown, a son of the late Kenneth and Ethel Graden Arbogast. A lifelong area resident, Jack was a 1972 graduate of Boardman High School and received his Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Youngstown State University.

For over 25 years, he worked for Schwebel’s Bakery and was a member of the Bakers Union Local 19. In his free time, Jack enjoyed spending time with his pit bulls, Zeus, Sophia, and Bandit. He is survived by his son, Timothy Arbogast of Youngstown; daughter, Sandra (Robert) Curd of Youngstown; sister, Pamela Arbogast of Boardman; four grandchildren, Jeremy Antal and Chloe, Joshua, and Devin Curd; and dear friends whom he considered family, Maribeth Miller, Morgan Miller, and Makala Gasparek.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Jack’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman. Please visit www.
