Boardman – Joseph A. Morucci, 81, of Boardman, died Tuesday morning, November 13, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Joe was born February 26, 1937 in Youngstown, a son of the late Ben and Adele Bertuccini Morucci. Raised in Youngstown, Joe was a 1956 graduate of Wilson High School.

In July of 1958 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served as a Tank Crewman. He was honorably discharged in July of 1962. Returning to the area, Joe worked at Republic Steel as a printer for 6 years.

He retired in 1995 from Choffin Career Center as a Graphic Art Instructor. Joe was passionate about hunting with his son, grandson, brother, nephews and spending time with family. Joe leaves two sons, Joseph (Traci) Morucci of North Lima and Jon (Anna) Morucci of Canfield; one daughter, Christine (Randy) Stitt of Canfield; three sisters, Yola Ciolli of Austintown, Mary Crocetti of Poland and Norma (Jim) Fink of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Ben (Mary) Morucci of Poland; five grandchildren, Landon and Makenna Morucci, Megan and Thomas Stitt, and Gia Morucci.

A private family celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date at the Davis-Becker Family Center in Boardman.
