Jodie L. Grainger July 29, 1990 – January 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Jodie Louise Grainger, 28, of St. Stephen, SC, a mail carrier for the US Postal Service at Huger, died Tuesday afternoon in Berkeley County. Her funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon, February 2, 2019, in the Redeemed Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Harristown Full Gospel Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner.

The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Callen-Lacey Center for Children, PO Box 1829, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Miss Grainger was born July 29, 1990, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Henry L. Grainger, Jr., and Learil Herndon Grainger.

She was a member of the Redeemed Holiness Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader, and sometimes played the drums. Miss Grainger volunteered at the Callen-Lacey Center for Children, and she enjoyed traveling and shopping. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are, her father of Tabor City, NC; her Godmother, Carmen H. Humbert of St. Stephen; four sisters, Rebecca F. Grainger of Massachusetts, Michelle H. Hiers of St. Stephen, Asia Ferneding of Abilene, TX, and Jordan Humbert of St. Stephen; and six brothers, Edward O’Neil Connell of Goose Creek, William Lee Herndon of Summerville, John Humbert of St. Stephen, Michael Humbert of Salem, OH, and Cody and Hunter Humbert both of St. Stephen.
