Judy C. Strock August 15, 1945 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Judy Cross Strock, 73, of Bonneau Beach, a retired kitchen crew leader for Santee Cooper at Wampee, died Thursday morning at her residence. Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in the Bonneau Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until the hour of service on Saturday. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bonneau, PO Box 130, Bonneau, SC 29431, or to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Rd. , Ste.

504, Charleston, SC 29406. Mrs. Strock was born August 15, 1945, in Portsmouth, VA, a daughter of George William Cross, Jr., and Ellen Doris Smith Cross. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonneau, and was a graduate of Hanahan High School.

Mrs. Strock was a former secretary for the S.C. Tax Commission and a former lunchroom supervisor for the Berkeley County School District. She enjoyed baking and cooking, and working with her husband building docks, but most of all she loved caring for her family and friends. Mrs. Strock was preceded in death by a son, Clayton O. Strock.

Surviving are her husband, Harry C. Strock; a son, William Doyle Strock of Bonneau; a daughter-in-law, Christy W. Strock of Bonneau; a sister, Doris C. Cummings of Ladson; and two grandchildren, Tally Strock and Legend Clayton Strock both of Bonneau.
