Mr. Joe Anderson, 81 of 607 Holly St. transitioned in his home on July 9, 2018. “Big Joe” was the son of the late Samuel “Stan” Anderson and Lester Naomi Jeffries Anderson “Sis”, both deceased. He retired from Burlington Industries and GKN.

He is survived by his wife Mary Maxine Wilson Anderson; son: Antoine D. Anderson (Sara); 2 grandchildren: Ashely Anderson and Alana Davis (Terrell); great-grandson: Roman Davis and siblings: Cleoria Anderson Williams “Kee”, Alice A. Morrow, Ray Anderson (Gloria) and Louis “Bob” Jones.
